Join us at the library for a Children's Program during a Parenting Class by FYI (Family and Youth Initiatives) of New Carlisle!

Guiding Good Choices will cover topics like:

Importance of Family Meetings
Specific actions that promote healthy development
Strategies to build family connections

June 1st thru August 24th will be the New Carlisle Library's Adult Summer Reading Challenge. After the 1st come pick up a sheet with the reading challenges for this year. AND keep an eye out for weekly paper challenges. Some of those would be to attend a Library event (such as Community Garden, UFOs, wreath making, Crafternoons!)

Mobility Muscles in Motion

Do you have a mobility problem? Want to exercise but can't do all the moves? Come to our Mobility Muscles in Motion chair exercise! With fun music and moves Sherry will get you groovin" and movin'! Using small weights (you can bring cans or water bottles,) balls, and lots of fun tunes you will get that movement back!

We are inviting eight kids, ages 7-10, to meet at the New Carlisle Public Library to play THE HERO KID, a fantasy role-playing game.  Sarah from New Carlisle Toys & Games will guide kids through a role-playing game scenario designed just for young children.  Please pre-register by emailing readingisimportant@gmail.com or by leaving a voicemail:  937-845-3061, ext 101.

The Stillwater Stargazers Astronomy Club will host an opportunity to learn how to utilize all of the functions available on the telescope that the library has available for loan as well as enjoy a night sky viewing experience. This program is for all ages, children should be accompanied by an adult.
