?????????® ??? ????!
With the help of Pastor Chris Heeter and the friendly and kind members of Living Grace Community Church, a StoryWalk® is now open across the street from the library, at 200 E. Lake Avenue.
A StoryWalk®is a unique way for children and adults to enjoy a children's book while enjoying the wonder of the outdoors. Follow the numbers on each page as you walk; you'll find the story ends under a tree with page number 17. The story is printed in English on one side of each sign and in Spanish on the reverse side. Walk on your own schedule and at your own pace. After you finish the walk, stop by the library for a free sticky dragon. When our new Beanstack reading program begins, you'll find a badge you can earn by taking this walk!
If church services are not in session, Living Grace Community Church will allow you to park in their lot. The walk begins on the side of the church and continues through their grassy field. Please do not use the StoryWalk® or their parking lot during church services, Wednesdays from 6-9 p.m. and Sundays from 7 a.m.-3 p.m.
StoryWalk® was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and was developed with the help of Rachel Senechal, Kellogg-Hubbard Library. #storywalk
