Come and learn some of the amazing things happening in the continuing recovery of New Orleans after Katrina.  Pat Krabacher and Linda Eggleston Nowakowski will share some of the amazing things happening in the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans in the aftermath of Katrina and how it is related to New Carlisle.

Eat Smart, Be Active: Please Pre-Register
A free program offered as a series of NINE lessons to help families learn how to stretch food dollars, research nutrition, and become more active. Each class will receive educational tips and PRIZES that will relate to the lesson. There will also be food tastings and recipes. Graduation certificate and raffle will be presented to anyone attending all sessions. Class begins May 29, Tuesday, 6 p.m., continuing for nine weeks.
